A short explenation of how I'm planning to move forward for 2026 is to be Tough, Tender & Transparency as possible. (TTT) I'm not holding back this year.
Moving into 2026 requires balancing the timeless nature of leathercraft with a market that is increasingly digital and hungry for real artisans today. I have a plan I cannot discuss.
Yes, always! I like to express myself with characters. I also use them for intertainment and illustrate scenerios. Some will be weird, funny, ackward, and some you may not find them appealing. Never the less, they are part of me. They are webcomic.
On my sick days I do not work. I will contact the customers letting them know I cannot process any orders at that time. Hopefully, that doesn't happen.
I have been overlooked, brainwashed or seduced into being invisible. The light is shining on me now. I am capable of making a difference of being bold and of changing more than I am willing to admit. I am capable of making Art.
I decided to dedicate my time to do what I truly want to do as I age. As Chuck Dorsett says "Sky is the limit".
So I am getting out of my comfort zone and motivating myself to be creative, to make my own art on my terms. I unlock the ability to make an impact. I expose myself because now it's my decision to perform, not someone else's.
It's my choice of audience not the choice of some... ok let me stop here.
Every moment that I wait, biding my time, waiting for the perfect opportunity, is a moment wasted and,
worse, a door that closes, possibly not to open again. The door itself makes no promises. It is only a door. Behind that door though, lies connection and the possibilities that come from having people

What you see here is the new famous, LSZ from Sailrite. This is Ultrafeed LSZ Walking Foot Sewing Machine. Personally, I'm very happy with this purchase. It sews through wax canvas like butter.

Ultimately, I present to you, the great Skiver machine from Techsew. If you're just getting started and planning to be a full time leather crafter, in my humble opinion You Must Own one of this. It will save you a lot of time crafting. It's a little pricie, but you can't go wrong having one. You are going to need it.

Yes. Here is the real deal what the purpose for zone34 and my motives are.
To showcase my leather craft. I like making things. There is a purpose for what I'm doing, I don't know exactly, but I know it's something for the better.
But for the most part, it is a web blog where I get to express myself and to be creative at the same time. Of course, we all want to sell our art, but we must get started somehow to make it happen.
So, yes, this is what I will be doing for the time being. If you want to support me, that would be great. I can use a little help if you buy something because the material I invest in is not cheap.
This is a very expensive craft. No, I take that back. It all depends how you want to start and how far you want to get. I'm shooting for the stars and to fight boredom. I find leather work helpful to soothe the spirits. When I got started on this my best friend was Tandy Leather. I rememberd driving an hour away to get more material to fulfill the customers needs. It was a lot of fun. I truly enjoy crafting. Sold every piece too. By sharing my work with people who appreciate a great artisan I was able to make this happend. You know something,
I was visiting all the previous years I was active, and I can't believe I did all that. That was a lot of work and effort, but happy times as well with the customers who would buy from me. They made it all possible and a lot of fun. Thank you for helping me get started.💛
I'm going to try and put myself out there again. There are a lot of great crafters online selling great products. Every tutorial that I watch I always give a thumbs up. These videos are very healthy and informative. Now, I want you (leather crafter communities) to make room for me. I'm not sure if it goes well, only time will tell. Either way, why not, right? Like I told my co-worker is either now or never. I don't want to continue to stay at a job that gives me so little satisfaction.
I need excitement! It's part of my personality. The way I achieve this is by being a leather crafter. Being a leather crafter does take a lot of your time, especially when you are hand-sewing and even machine stitching.
Everything is time-consuming, putting ideas together, thinking about what I'm going to say next, what projects I'm going to have in place, but I enjoy every bit of it. I will let 2026 speak for itself.
Oh, I almost forgot, so I also run ST&S. Basically, this is the place where I list any items that either we own, or we received to list. If I own it, I will make sure to let you know. We have serious gamers in the house, so you will see gaming consoles, controllers, headsets, monitors, that kind of stuff. By the way, I have two monitors I need to list I just haven't had the time, but it's coming.
eBay is a great place to start selling. I'm very happy with eBay. This is just my opinion. I shift focus away from negativity.
One last thing, I'm in no shape of form associated with eBay. I just love the fact that eBay is a global online marketplace that can connect buyers and sellers any place, any time. It provides a platform where I can list my items for sale to a worldwide audience. Fun Fact about eBay: Did you know

Anyway, I just want to make that clear because I have been asked before. Everything related to zone34 is my work, my creative mind and nothing more. I built and deployed Zone34 in a way where it is a user-friendly site for everyone.
